Bu çalışmanın amacı, Erken Cumhuriyet döneminde şiddet tekeli kapsamında değerlendirilen politikaların niteliğini, kamusal alanı şekillendirme kabiliyetini ve ülke geneline yayılan sosyo-politik yansımalarını analiz etmektir. Nitel araştırma teknikleriyle geliştirilen makalede tarihsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Literatür taramasıyla elde edilen veriler içerik analizine tabi tutularak betimsel analiz yöntemiyle yorumlanmıştır. Dönemin koşulları gözetilerek bulguların analizinde tarihsel bağlama sadık kalınmıştır. Araştırmanın temel veri setini resmî kanunlar, Cumhurbaşkanlığı Devlet Arşivi, Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi tutanakları gibi birincil kaynaklar ile konu hakkında yazılmış telif eserler ve dönemin gazetelerini içeren ikincil kaynaklar oluşturmuştur. Çalışma devlet mekanizmasının tek parti iktidarının kontrolünde merkezileştiği Erken Cumhuriyet dönemiyle (1923-1938) sınırlı tutulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonucunda, inkılap vizyonunun ve devrimci ideolojinin kurumsallaşmasında önemli yeri olan siyasal şiddet uygulamalarının aynı zamanda rejim ile halk arasındaki ilişkiyi zayıflatarak inkılap prensiplerinin ve seküler reformların içselleştirilmesini engellediği kanaatine varılmıştır.

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the foundations of the policies of violence implemented during the Early Republic period of Türkiye, ability to shape the public sphere, and socio-political repercussions throughout the country. The article, developed using qualitative research techniques, employs a historical research method. Data obtained through the literature review were subjected to content analysis and interpreted using descriptive analysis method. Considering the conditions of the period, the analysis of the findings has remained faithful to the historical context. The main data set of the research consists of primary sources such as official laws, the Presidential State Archives, and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, as well as secondary sources including original works and newspapers of the period. The study is limited to the Early Republic period (1923-1938), when the state mechanism was centralized under the control of a single-party government. The research concludes that while political violence played a significant role in institutionalizing the revolutionary vision and ideology, it also weakened the relationship between the regime and the people, hindering the internalization of revolutionary principles and secular reforms.
