The Journal of Liberal Thought is a peer-reviewed academic and scientific journal published four times a year.

The journal publishes a wide range of contributions, including copyright, translation (with the permission of the author and the publisher), simplification, edition criticism, book-symposium reviews, and more.

The Journal of Liberal Thought is committed to publishing original studies on theoretical issues or current events, addressing social, political and economic issues at national and international levels from a liberal perspective, drawing on a disciplinary or interdisciplinary approach.In this context, it is open to all studies in the field of social sciences and humanities.In terms of scope, the journal includes studies in the branches of social sciences and humanities that fall within the range of topics listed among its objectives.

The journal is published four times a year, in March, June, September and December, and is available in both Turkish and English.The journal only publishes original studies that have not been published elsewhere, and are published for the first time in the Journal of Liberal Thought.Articles that have been previously presented at a scientific meeting may be accepted, provided that this is stated. Exceptions to the rule of not having been previously published are permitted for articles and translations that have been published at least 25 years after their first publication and that can be considered classic texts in terms of their importance and impact. Such texts may be included in the journal whether or not they have been previously published, and the journal may also publish book reviews.
