The Journal of Liberal Thought is an international academic and scientific refereed journal published four times a year.

The journal publishes copyright, translation (with permission from the author and the publisher), simplification, edition criticism, book-symposium reviews, etc.

The Journal of Liberal Thought has adopted the principle of publishing original studies on theoretical issues or current events by addressing social, political and economic issues at national and international level from a liberal perspective from a disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspective. In this context, it is open to all studies in the field of social sciences and humanities.In terms of scope, the journal includes studies in the branches of social sciences and humanities that include the issues specified in its objectives. The journal is published four times a year, in March, June, September and December. The publishing language of the Journal of Liberal Thought is Turkish and English. The articles published in the journal must not have been published in any other publication before and must be published in the Journal of Liberal Thought for the first time. Papers that have been previously presented at a scientific meeting may be accepted, provided that this is stated.

It is important to note that articles and translations which have been published a minimum of 25 years after their initial publication, and which can be regarded as classic texts with regard to their importance and impact, constitute an exception to the rule that they have not been published previously. Such texts may be included in the journal irrespective of whether they have been published before or not. Furthermore, the journal may also publish book reviews.
